Methodology: This Forex seasonal is synthesised from two underlying CME futures seasonal datasets. The GBPNZD directional bias is derived by combining the British Pound CME futures seasonal tendency (direct — GBP is the base currency) with the inverse of the New Zealand Dollar CME futures seasonal tendency (NZD is the quote currency — inverted, since NZD strength means fewer NZD per unit of GBP). May stages the calendar's defining collision — both currencies fire their single highest-conviction trade of the year in the same month, in directly opposing setups — while June through October offer a run of cleaner dominant-component resolutions and a confirmed double-alignment long. December closes the year remarkably: both currencies' defining year-end moves point the SAME direction for the pair, producing the calendar's cleanest, highest-conviction alignment.
